A cooking event with Thore Hildebrandt
At a cooking event in our bulthaup lead shop at Mediapark, Thore Hildebrandt masterfully introduced the topic of "food rescue" and, together with all the guests, created fabulous dishes from rescued ingredients. This inspiring cooking evening not only allowed for the discovery of new recipes but also encouraged all guests to get involved, chop, chat, bake, cook, and save food from waste.
Cooking with rescued food is of great importance as it makes a crucial contribution to reducing food waste. In many societies where there is an abundance of food, about 30% of produced food is thrown away. Thore Hildebrandt has recognized that this waste must be stopped and has found his calling in transforming sustainable and rescued food into delicious dishes.
